Dark brown. Roasted, light chocolate, grain, and a hint of smoke or burnt. Medium bodied. Finish is dry and bitter. Really nice even if it is a little heavy.

From tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma is roasted malt with dark bread, touch of nuts and soft chocolate, caramel, more dark bready notes. Mild to medium sweet, moderate roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Nice Schwarz.

Draught @ Brewpub, Nurnberg. 2 seidla's. Pours black with a small stable mocha brown head. Roast, chocolate and ashes. Super smooth and dry with a roasted bitter finish. Excellent.

Draft at In De Wildeman. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of light burnt malt, caramel, toffee, toast and biscuit. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

50cl bottle. Pours clear reddish brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild roasted malt, caramel. Taste of mild sweet roasted malt, caramelish, nuts, some chocolate.

Tap at the brewpub - 26/11/11. Dark brown with a medium off-white head. Roasted dark malts and nutty nose, flavour similar with a little toffee. Medium bodied.
