Bottle. More or less clear in the glass, dark amber to brown in color and with a finger-thick light beige head. Some lacings. The aroma has dark sugar, dried fruits, some tea and cigar. Pepper notes. It’s lightly spiced and peppery on the palate, with lots of figs. Some maltyness too. It’s very softly carbonated, full-bodied and lighlty warming. Figs and sweetness in the finish. A quite pleasant one, successful use of figs. 131231

ØK 13, sample from a bottle, thanks to fonefan. Bright dark amber coloured body. Decent off-white head. Ashy-like aroma with dark malts. Taste is made up by mid sweet, malts including caramel, and resinous hops. Dried fruity ending that lingers for quite a while. Warming alcohol. Likable (Copenhagen, 25.05.2013).
