Trace is a wild ale that fermented and aged for 3,5 years in Buffalo Trace, Maker’s Mark bourbon barrels and a Rye Whiskey barrel. It gave the beer a lot of whiskey character, but without overpowering the delicacy of our wild ales.

Bottle @MBCC 2025, Green Session. Clear dark golden, white head. Leathery, funky aroma. Malty sweet, funky sour flavour, tart and leathery.

MBCC 2025, Copenhagen. Early saturday. Pours clear copper with a small head. Bourbon, vanilla, funk, sesame seeds and barnyard. Works. Fresh wood. Complex. 4.1

Bottle pour at MBCC 2025, green session. Pours murky dark orange with a white head. Wild yeast and gentle bourbon barrel on the nose. Flavour has dirty barrels, spicy yeast, some bourbon barrels on the finish. Good.

MBCC 2025, Green Session. A slightly hazy dark golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of sour grapes, apples, brett. Taste of sour peach, oak barrel, brett, apples, funk.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small white head. Aroma is unusual, with tons of whiskey and bourbon barrels that combines oddly with the wild yeast and acidity. Flavour is super unusual, with intense oak and bourbon, gentle acidity, and wild yeast. Very charred and smoky woodiness on the finish. Odd but this does work.
