Cask, half pint. Tasted on the 30/01/2018 at "Wedge Issue Pizza + Beer", London (England). After a nice walk all I wanted was a pizza and a local beer. Amber colour with a medium head. Aroma of grains, pine and biscuits. Taste is medium sweet with presence of malts, biscuits and some fruits. Medium body and carbonation. Next one please!

(Cask at Kitty’s, 20160909) The beer amber and clear. Its head was small, dense, white and it lasted long. Aroma had pine, creamy toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were pine, creamy toffee, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good hoppy cask ale.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs Beer Festival 2016. Clear amber thin white head. Fruity strong bitter. Some orange zesty fruit. Some spritzy hop on the finish. Kinda ok. Not spot on but the orange fruit and hop are entertaining. Not thin but lacking a certain body. OK.
Strained yeast. English bitter with American hops. Bland

Cask@The Railway, Streatham, London (07/06/2015) - golden pour with a white head. Fruity and light malty aroma and taste, faint and vague, hoppy, rather bland and uninteresting.

Half pint served in a mug, well-kept cask ale at The Queens Head, Kings Cross. Clear amber-gold coloured body. Remaining layer blanketing the glass. Inviting floral hoppy aroma. Fruity taste joined by a backdrop of green apples. Clean bitter ending. Medium bodied. Tasty (London 12.07.2014).

Cask gravity at Watford rugby Club beer fest. Golden light amber colour small fleeting off white head. Aroma is tart berry, green apple, slight musty. Flavour is nutty malt, slight musty, some pine needles, tart green apple. Assertive bitterness is rough round the edges. Disappointing.

Cask at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus light malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a big hop bitter mild creamy barnyard light toothpaste palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Not really an APA at all but a great, fully flavoured English Pale Ale. The Americans don’t make beer like this!
