pitch dark, large smooth light brown head. strong aroma of roasted malts, wood, slightly sweet note, but not too much, licorice, really really nice. Flavor is slightly woody sourish, roasted malty, wine, licorice, I’m afraid this one might be slightly infected or with some wild yeasts in it. Still, it tastes quite okay.

Sampled @ RB Danish Summer Gathering 2013 day 2, Ulfborg. Bottle. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized lightly brown head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma has malts, roasted malts and bourbon clearly. Quite nice. Flavor is not that good at all, some sourness that appears to be unintended. Average body and carbonation.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Nordic, no BBE info found
Aroma has strong bourbon notes, wood and vanilla. Flavour is quite bitter and somewhat tart with licorice, woody notes, some berries, hints of soy sauce and salty licorice. Promising aroma with lots of bourbon but the flavour is just too bitter in a harsh way.

Bottle, 7.2%. Vanilla aroma, quite alcoholic. Black colour, small light brown head. Lactic acid flavour, some vanilla. OK balance. Interesting, but could be less acidic.
