Bottle (kindly shared by omhper!). Very deep ruby red colour, close to black with a small brown head. Aroma is coffee, mild toasted nuts, some toffee and slight burnt wood. Flavour is coffee, burnt wood, some ashes and mild nuttyness as well. Pleasantly biting carbonation making the stout feel very fresh. Long nutty and roasted coffee in the aftertaste.

Bottled, thanks KnutAlbert! Black, small head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Slight caramel, l´just a little roastiness. Low bitterness. Almost lager like.

Flaske 0,5l. Kjøpt av Rune og delt under seanse i H9 17 Jan 13. Dyprød. Høyt luftig & litt farget skum med litt lacing. En forsiktig litt røstet aroma. Smaken holdes oppe av et gjennomgående svakt røykpreg. Minner om en stout i avslutninga: Tørr røstet malt.

500ml bottle picked up at Meny City Oslo. Very pretty to look at with its deep, dark ruby body supported by a decent beige, bubbly head. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Restrained aroma of roasted, earthy malts. Taste has got hints of bacon on a mid-sweet, dark malty backbone. Half-dry ending. Soft and rather clean in the mouth. Good (shared with Finn during a session in Tromsø, 17.01.2013).

Medium brown head. Nearly opaque deep dark brown body goes translucent at edges. Earthy roasty chocolatey aroma with perfumy with perfumy herbal notes. Dryish roasty chocolatey perfumy taste with earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish perfumy licorice aftertaste with roasty chocolatey sooty notes. Nice, but again a bit perfumy. Reminds me somewhat of the Badger beers. (0.5l bottle, Meny Oslo City.)

Black colour with a small tan head. Leaves a nice lacing. Chocolate and light roasted malt aroma. Medium body with a mild sweetness. Round mild oily texture with a dry finish. Dominant licorice flavour. Light roasted malt and chocolate. Some light smoked notes? Nah, when the beer got warmer the small smoked note vanished. It should maybee have been opposite.
It is a nice solid product....but....clear bottles? Feels very strange.

50cl bottle from Rema, Askim. Very dark brown with a reddish hue, almost black with a rather small, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with licorice, chocolate and coffee with some smoky notes. Just lightly sweet, with fairly mild, but pleasant flavours. Finish is quite dry and bitter. Well balanced beer and very pleasant to drink.

Shared 500 ml clear bottle at local tasting. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Moderate roasty aroma, notes of coffee and woodwork. Moderately roasty flavour, quite dry, coffee notes. Okay standard stout, but nothing exceptional whatsoever.
