A traditional Farmhouse saison or ‘seasonal’ style beer brewed for it’s rich flavor and character. Four select yeast strains are used to brew this complex, fruity and aromatic beer. An abundance of whole cone Fuggle & Golding hops create a delicate balance with the malted barley, wheat & oats.

This brew is a cloudy orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of stone fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of peppery yeast, fruit, bready malt and a bit of hops. The finish is dry with a fruity yeast and grassy hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Aroma is mostly yeast. Flavor’s and palate work together synergistically in a relatively traditional way. Plenty of yeast, little fruit or funk, great carbonation. Nice finish.

Bottle. Clear orange pour with a thin white head and visible carbonation. Notes of farmhouse yeast, honey, minerals, bananas, peaches, apricots. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, fizzy from the carbonation and with a bitter-sweet finish.

375mL capped bottle. Even at the last pour its only a hazy golden color. Effective skill at balancing a pretty beer with a live beer. The head is always strong and long lasting. Its a foamy, lightly sticky head. Looks like a decent bubble bath beer. I am drinking this side by side with the Bretta version. Its interesting to drink the base beers of the Brett version Saisons. Well, I cold only think of Blvd that has the availability (albeit, Tank 7 has an additional dry hopping). So, I feel like this beer is really meant for brett-anizing rather than standing on its own. So, my perception of a bit too much sweetness and a stronger than desire malt biscuit - while all being fairly well contained - may be biased. I like it but I want it leaner with a bit of acidity to balance. A mineral and herbal yeast finish. I like it but I can’t help but think how much more I would like it with Brett.

Big offwhite head. Clear reddish body with lots of little particles. Fruity nutty citric aroma with apple notes. Sweet nutty toffee and apple taste with caramelly vanilla notes. Nice & highly drinkable. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish buttery toffee and apple aftertaste with funky spicy notes. Nice, drinkable, and full of flavour. (0.375l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

375 ml bottle. Nose of orange, peach, Belgian yeast, huge, juicy stone fruit. Cloudy, bright gold with a rocky head. Great fruit flavor, stone fruit, oranges, a touch of ginger. Nice small, persistent bubbles, a bit creamy. An amazingly fruity saison. Great.
