Solid black IPA, with that nice balance between hops and roasted malt. Liked it.

Keg at Beer Temple, 6th February 14. Lovely smooth BIPA, lots of head, great roasted malt aroma, citrus and pine with a good malt balance in the taste. Good stuff

Tropical and light leafy hop nose Jet black with a red shine, creamy lacing brown head Dry dark roasted on the front, light toast bread, good hop wallop with pineapple, lychee, lemongrass notes in the back. Grassy aftertaste Mouthfeel stays dry and sparkly, never veers into creamy porter/stout territory Nice!

Tap at Borefts ’13, 27/09/13. Extremely dark mahogony brown with a moderately sized tan head. Nose is earthy hops, light roast, pine needles, grapefruit tang. Taste comprises juicy hops, pine needles, bitter grapefruit brawl, orange pith, light cocoa sprinkling. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with balanced hop bitterness. Top notch CDA !

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head with good lasting and nice lacework. Aroma is hoppy, roasty, with notes of light citrus. Flavor has a deent bitterness with roasted malts, notes of licorice and coffee. The final is refreshing with a decent bitterness with long duration.

Had this at Borefts, Beer Festival, De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 27th September 2013 Black in colour with a lovely reddy glint towards bottom of glass. Roasty with a light coffeeness going on. Soft in the mouth, the citrus comes charging in and leaves a light roasty pithiness across the tongue. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
