(Cask at Gallow’s Bird Real Ale Festival ’15) The beer poured deep amber and lightly hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, caramel, malts, sweetness, citricness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A nice malty and hoppy brew.

Cask @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2015
Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grainy malts, caramel, toffee, citrus and worty notes. Taste is smooth, grainy and stuffy with hints of earthy malts, wort, toffee and crisp hops. Finish is smooth and grainy with some earthiness. Decent, but feels a bit off.

Aroma has bready malt, some resiny tones and berries. Flavour has bready malt, some gooseberry bush, grapefruit and mint. Also rather strong mineral tones after some sips. Somewhat bitter finish. Not that American, but decent anyway.
