This is an English style ale. Amber in color, a caramel sweet body balanced with a generous portion of East Kent Goldings hops for a floral finish. Pale, carapils, crystal and black malts are used exclusively with East Kent Golding hops.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a rustic burnt amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Sly lacing sliding right on into the beer.
The aroma has a decent blend of malty biscuity/bready/toastiness. Sly piney hop bill, somewhat bitter, but mostly only to balance.
The flavor has a rich malty caramel to toffee bill. Biscuity/breadiness again. Hops set in, once again, only to balance. Moderate balance between malts and hops in the aftertaste and flows nicely into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Easy going on my tongue.
Overall, pretty good amber ale that I could have again.
