The Buechel OGs raid the GABF 2023: Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma is grain, herbal, bready cereal. Taste is crisp grain, some bready, refreshing.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours a clear dull golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is subtle, with bready malt and a touch of herbal notes. Flavour is rather herbal and almost fungal, with a subtly sweet herbal, biscuity malt. I'm not sure how this ever won awards. This is mediocre at best.

Draft at GTMW 2015. Clear golden yellow color, fluffy white head. Nice aroma of freshly cut haystacks doused with black pepper. Taste is fresh hay and peppery straw. Better than some of the maibocks I had in Germany last May.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, sugary, grass, malt, light caramel. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, grass, sugary, light fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. Dark yellow with a small white head. Aroma of malt, grain, light citrusly hops. Flavor is malt, grain, sugar, little hoppy, alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, some alcohol in the finish. 111113

Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter nice complex finish. Maybe a little more ABV than 6.3? Oily palate.
