Sampled @ RB Danish Summer Gathering 2013 day 2, Ulfborg. Bottle. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized light to medium brown colored head. Aroma of malts, hops, roastyness. Taste malts, roasted malts, lightly hops, coffee, lots of bitterness. Medium to full body and carbonation. Very nice beer.

Bottle. Almost black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, soay and a little coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, medium sweet, little soy and a little bitter.

Bottle @ TSODRBSG13, Ulfborg. Black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish. 310813

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich hops, chocolate, coffee, licorice and hops. Nice bitter finish.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy nice aroma. Chocolate and vanilla notes. Mpoderate bitter wonderfull flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. chocolate and vanilla again dominating notes. Creamy palate. Nice.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and chocolate. Thick chocolate, roasted malty and mild roasted acidic. Bitter, dark roasted and chocolate finish.

Bottle @ Torben Mathews Tasting. Pours opaque black with dark brown head. Aroma had heavy notes of Vegamite, but also malt, gain, cereal, grass, horse blanket, licorice, faint fruity and light spicy. Taste is initial medium sweet then medium to heavy bitter in excellent balance. Body is medium to full creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long with notes of gravy and Sunday roast.
