Namned Bomble Bee 17 in Sweden and The Bee 17 in the UK.
Bomble Bee 17 turned out pretty much how we wanted a pilsener style lager from our backyard brewery to be. Golden colour and a pearly white head. Elegant dry body and a refreshing bitterness. But then, while lagering, our brewmaster chose to bombard the brew with hops to give the beer its final profile. Grassy Saaz battling Flowery Willamette for your nose’s attention. We call it a Hop-Struck Pilsener.

Canned 330ml. -Golden/orange coloured, Medium sized white head, low carbonation, mild hops in the nose. Moderate malty, grassy and herbal hoppy with notes of caramel. Dry bitter finish. Not bad.

Can 33cl. Golden/orange color, nicely lasting white head. Aroma of mostly sweet but also fruity hops, some marzipan. Taste is more or less the same, albeit too unbalanced. Body slightly too light. Hm, doesn’t feel complete albeit some potential.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ pre-TSODRBSG13 ], Ulfborg.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, marzipan malt, light sugary - honey. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, marzipan malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130830]

Can. Im surprised to say that this was a nicely drinkable lager with a flattering hoppiness with notes of sweet fruits. Maybe not that clean maltiness. However, I Will buy this one again!

Can from Systembolaget. Clear darker golden with a white head. Sweet with grass, light hops, perfume and some fruit. The body was light, the aftertaste was short. Not a great one but drinkable.

Appearance: Clear light dark deep golden color with a white layer head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Deep malty and nice citric hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Soft malty, light fruity and a fine citric hoppy touch.
Overall impression: A really nice and pleasant beer.
