Dark Brown, no head or lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate. Flavors of roasted malts, sweet malts, chocolate with a dry finish

Sampled @ GBBF. Black color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, a touch of sweet malts, quite roasty, a hint of chocolate. Decent body and carbonation, velvety mouthfeel. Quite nice, well done.

Cask - Dark roast and some slight chocolate. Jet black with almost no head. Dark roast malts and some chocolate notes. I don’t quite get any milk or sweetness.

Cask at the 2014 GBBF. Opaque dark brown pour with a scummy grey head. Aroma is nutty, choc and dried fruits,. Flavour is sweet lactose sugars, earthy choc and hint of ashy roast. Some berry fruits. Decent.

Cask at GBBF 2014. It pours near black with a decent light tan head. The nose is bitter-sweet, coffee, candy, cocoa, Rocky road and lactose. The taste is smooth, bitter-smooth, milk chocolate, earth, wood, coffee, mocha and twig with a very drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Alright.

Cask @ EBF14 2013, 14th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE.Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, moderate yeasty, vomit, eggs. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130328]

Cask/GD at the 14th Egham Beer Festival at the EUSC, 28/03/13. Mid black with a thin tan head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malt, light chocolate, slight lactose, touch sulphuric and eggerous. Taste comprises roast malt, milk chocolate buttons, sweet brown sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry in the execution. Decent enough drainpipe nose aside!

cask at egham ... deep black ... thin tan head ... dry little sulpherout ... roast malt nose ... sweet roast ... again a little eggy ... not working for me.
