On cask at Fountain Inn, Gornal - clear pale yellow body with a firm white head. Lives up to the name, lemon up front, plenty of citrus in the finish. Lemon. Yep, lemony.

Bottle from my local Co-Op store. Clear gold, small white top. Aroma of cracker like malts, lemon, grass; decent freshness to it. Taste of pale malts, light biscuit edge, lemon sherbet, pepper, grassy modest bitterness. Light to medium bodied, oily, nice soft to fine carbonation. OK.

August 2018: Rerate, cask pint at The Beehive (JDW landside, South terminal, Gatwick Airport). ABV 4.5%. Golden colour, white head. Pleasant aroma and flavour of citrus / lemons, but not too sour. Decent hops, well balanced. Refreshing. I'm upping the score several points.

Original rating: Cask 1/3 pint, gravity dispense, at the 16th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival. Pale golden colour, small white head. Moderate aroma of lemons. Lemony flavour all right, but not much more than that. Thin body.

Cask at The Park Tavern, Eltham. Bright golden pour with a white head. Grapefruit & lemon toffee aromas. Taste is much the same, splash of lime coming through too. Bitter citrusy finish. Refreshing stuff.

Creamy off white head stayed on a clear pale amber coloured body. Pithy & pale malt aroma. Floral, peach, sweet citrus & light malt tastes. Lovely easy going quaffer.

Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading. Clear bronzed gold with a negligible white head. Smooth mouthfeel. The lemon is very muted, there's marmalade though. A little biscuitty malt, a little creaminess, a little marzipan, a little spice, a little dull. Unusually meh for Salopian.
