Shared bottle at hotel room tasting. ABV is 3.3%. Deep golden colour. Aroma of malts, toffee and dust. Surprisingly hoppy flavour for a beer of this low ABV, quite nice, also noticeable malts. Might sample again.

500ml bottle from Hand Drawn Monkey, Huddersfield. Interesting, fairly original taste.. very light, slightly prickly gooseberries and citrus if a little watered down. Had this with a home cooked tikka masala and went down a treat. Wouldn’t necessarily have on its own again but with a meal it works well.

Bottle, Corks, Cotham. A clear pissy gold pour with a small white head. Muted aroma. Where are the hops? Thin, grassy flavour, a little citrus but all a bit lacking balls. To be expected considering the strength I suppose, but verging on pointless territory.
