500ml bottle kindly shared by Skinnyviking at the great Absalon tasting. Near-clear, dark ruby body. Tiny beige, head. Roasted malty aroma with hints of liquorice. Likewise, the taste is roasted, displaying flavours of dark caramel, liquorice, and coffee.. Malty bitterness to the ending. Not more than medium bodied. Satisfying (hotel room, Church time, 04.05.2014).

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pretty reddish brown with a neat, beige head. Vague coffee aroma atop some roasted malts. Medium body, sweet vanillaish roast with a mellow hint of coffee. Hardly any hops. Quite a lot better than its ratings suggest - easygoing and quaffable. 050314

Bottle. Pours brownish black with small white head. Aroma is redcurrant jam, roasted malt and hints of ground coffee. Taste is light sweet light bitter and medium acidic from the carbonation. Body is watery with good carbonation. Finish is a bit short with notes of roasted malt, grain, bread and filter coffee. Disappointingly thin.

50 cl bottle @ wPBF’14, BBE 17.07.2014
Aroma has some coffee notes and toffee - feels English. Also some vegetables typical to coffee beers. Flavour has bitter and cold coffee. Also some licorice and hints of vegetables. Feels watery. Decent.
