Bottle 33 cl. Hardly even amber, rather deep golden with a dense, off-white head. Very delicate aroma, very fruity and lightly tropical. Body is very light, bordering watery, a light roastiness (?) rather than caramel, I evense sense a vague coffee note. Very unusual, if they insist this is an Amber, but still quite enjoyable. 240915

(Bottle) Golden amber colour with lasting, frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of toast, nuts, toffee, tea, citrus and a touch of chocolate. Malty taste with toast, nuts, toffee, caramel and floral hops in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, fairly dry. Well balanced and tasty. quite nice.

Bottle thanks to MisoW. Aroma is mostly hoppy. Earthy, floral, fruity, capuccino. Interesting mix. Golden to amber colour. Good head. Taste is again mostly hoppy, basically as the aroma suggests. Overall good and drinkable, but nothing to celebrate.

33cl bottle from Systembolaget, Strömstad. Pours clear dark golden to copper with a white head. Malty aroma with hints of roast and wood and moderate hoppy notes with citrus and hints of tropical fruits and pine. Moderate sweet with a fairly nice bitterness. Quite drinkable and fairly nice, but not the best from S:t Eriks.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden colored beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has roasted malts, caramel, bread crust and quite a lot of hops. Resins, grass and pine cones. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, semi-dry, with flavors of bread crust, nuts, roasted malts, coffee grit, resins and grass. And a nice bitterness. Lasting finish. Not superb in any way this one. I like it in a way, but it’s sort of messy and unbalanced. 140816

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. BBE 2015-02-17. Deep amber, thin white head. Chocolate malt, hops, bready notes in aroma. Pleasant. Flavor has caramel, milk chocolate, mild smoke. Lovely hoppy, chocolaty finish. Solid for this abv.
