Our Fourth Anniversary Ale blends expressive French oak Sauternes barrels that held our Lambic-inspired wild ale with two wild lagers aged in French oak puncheons:
-51% Lambic-inspired ale aged 16 months in Sauternes barrels
-39% Wild Lager aged 6 months in French oak puncheons
-10% Wild Lager aged 36 months in French oak puncheons
This blend is oaky, tannic, and full-bodied; notes of gooseberries, peaches, and candied apricots lead to soft Brett funk and a tart finish. This beer will age well.
