Cask, half-pint at Draft House. Shared with Finn. Deep black in the glass. Filmy layer, dotted spots on the glassware. Appealing aromas of coffee and chocolate malts, nicely roasted. Roasted dark malty flavours, coffee and ash. Roasted ending. Well made easy drinking porter. (Tower Bridge, London 19.10.2019).

(Cask at The Draft House Tower Bridge, 20191017) The beer poured black. Its head was small and white. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee and ash. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A too burnt brew and bit watery, too.

Cask at Eastbourne Beer Festival. Really not much to sing about, very bland tasting but it does go down a treat so a beer to go the distance.
