Foeder Aged Sour w/ Raspberry & Sage. This beer is a long story of weirdness involving a traveling circus consisting of a one person art project, a broken down van, and a trip in the high plains desert.

Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is intense tart raspberry with some herbal sage, more tart red berries throughout. Heavy puckering and acidic sourness, wow! Medium body. Wonderfully intense.

375ml bottle. Fantastic, cloudy, crimson colour with small, thick, frothy, fading, white head. Earthy, fruity and herbal aroma, notes of sage and raspberry, a touch of thyme, pulpy notes of raspberry, a pizza sauce-like touch of tomato and marjoram. Taste is dry, tart, tangy, earthy fruity and herbal, minimally soapy notes of sage, a touch of thyme and rosemary, fruit acidic, earthy notes of raspberry; insistent, lingering, finish, the tartness is sensible down to the stomach. Oily, almost felty texture, astringent and slightly adhesive palate, rather coarse and scattered, prickly carbonation. Very nice composition, the effective fruit and herb interaction reminds of Scratch's Blueberry and Lavender - very nice.
