Bottle from Drinkmonger. Murky ruby body with a large beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma of blackcurrant, raspberry syrup and caramel. Flavour of strawberry, red apple and bitter, earthy hops. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A raw, hoppy Amber Ale. Lovely stuff.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Oddbins Chiswick. BB date Feb 2014. Amber colour, lasting offf-white head. Nice fruity aroma of American hops, hints of red berries. Also malty notes. Decent hops in the flavour too, with a nice bitterness. Also lightly roasted malts, woody hints.

Shared bottle at RB/HD. Dark orange. Beige head. Earthy aroma of American hops and pine. Taste is better and more balanced. A bit too carbonated. Earthy and bitter hops in aftertaste.

500ml bottle from Kris Wines. Vinegar aroma from the off with a nasty sour taste that conjurs rotting dog bone with biscuit malts and some more vinegar. I presume something very wrong has happened with the bottle conditioning process for it to taste this bad. Will have to re-rate with another bottle or find it on cask somewhere.
