The Well Read Temptress is the second of our sour and seductive ladies. This ravishing raspberry Berliner style weisse knows how to read between the lines with her cheeky tartness and crisp finish. Aged on fresh raspberries from our friends at Seedling Farms, this beer is sure to educate the palate. Just don’t be late for this, the Red Temptress doesn’t like when you’re overdue.

Bottle. Lactic raspberry aroma. Cloudy grapefruit pink with giant pink. Light lactic sourness and raspberry flavor. Watery palate. Pretty good but very light.

Bottle. Gorgeous rose color, large pink head. Aroma of softly sour raspberry, citrus. Taste is softly sour fruit. Doesn’t taste very berliner weissey, but more like a very nice lambic. Reminds me of Rose de Gambrinus. Delicious. Nice to see this one in DC!

Bottle. Pours a clear ruby pinkish red with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of tart raspberries with a hint of sweetness and a nice crispness. Flavor has more of a reserved tartness from the raspberries that have a bit of an earthy note but the tartness does grow through the finish.
