Thanks for checking out our newest Fall seasonal beer Rio d'Oro, or "River of Gold"
This beer is a Belgian Golden Strong Ale, I have always been inspired by Duvel Moortgat Brewery of Belgium. Their Strong Blonde Ale has always been one of my favorite go to beers when I find it. Our version is brewed using all Belgian Pilsner malt, Styrian Golding hops and WLP570 Belgian yeast strain. I am very happy with the light tropical fruit notes and fairly low level of bubblegum flavors. It has a very nice spicy black pepper component in the finish. Please enjoy

Bottled, from Vinoble Dalum. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Malty and fruity aroma with peach and pineapple dominating, spicy hints and a bit of oxidation. Sweetish, tropical fruity flavour with some bready malt notes. Lacks some of the dryness and hops that make good Belgian strong ales so dangerously drinkable

Hazy gold beer, tidy off white head. Minerally crisp palate. Semi dry pale malt, with a little spice. Mellow citrus. Crispy finish. Pretty bored of middle of the road Belgian ales.

Smallish offwhite head. Clear amber body with lots of little floaties. Fruity floral marzipan aroma with caramelized sugar notes. Dry-sweet dried fruit and oily funky taste with caramelly papery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy caramelly fruity taste with floral herbal spicy notes. Nice, drinkable, full of flavour. (0.65l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

clear dark orange, fizzy offwhite head. aroma is like a tamed belgian blonde with some flowery notes. mild note of belgian yeasts, flowery hoppy note too. Hop profile is sort of more complex than your usual belgian, with flowers and exotic fruits - but it is quite in the background. flavor is yeasty, spicy, fruity, dry, true to belgian style, and tastes well-brewed, balanced. Really nice taste in fact.

GABF 2012. Pours with a very hazy yellow hued body with a white head. Aromas of isoamyl acetate and bubblegum with some pear esters, mildly grainy and alcohol. Flavors are boozy, sweet, grainy with strong spice notes. Alcoholic, slightly toasty palate with a dry finish.
