The most stupid brewery name ever
Brewed Nov 2013, bb Nov 2018

Pitch black color with medium sized brownish head, not very persistent. The aroma is peppery and pungent, this is a quality; but the coffee, strong, reminds a bit the coffee grounds, not completely exciting; roasted malt too of course; hint of aniseed and elderflower. Full bodied; strong flavor of roasted malt and coffee; but the rather important sweetness and strong alcohol presence help to keep this fragile balance; the coffee in the final is a bit more elegant than in the nose.
I’m not sure this is the kind of elephant-in-a-china-shop I want, but it’s pretty good sipper anyway.
I think of a coffee chocolate truffle.

Bottle - Black in colour. Coffee dominates in the aroma, along with notes of liquorice and plain chocolate. Coffee also dominates in the taste. Pretty much like an alcoholic coffee!

Sample at SBWF 2013. Black with a minimal head. This beer is totally dominated by coffee, both in the aroma and taste. Some hints of dark chocolate and honey. Quite special but also quite tasty.

Sample from tap, CBF 2013. Pitch black with a small, tan head. Aroma with a massive impression of coffee. Behind the overwelming amount of coffee there is rich chocolate and caramel malts. Roasted malts. A vinous hint of alcohol. Honey. Taste is heavy sweet - and coffee... Full body, thick feel. Finishes dry and roasted with lots and lots of coffee. Take a big, fat imperial stout and let it run through the coffee machine. This is what you get. I still like it, in a vulgar manner.
