65|01 showcases the classic pine and citrus notes from two superstar US hops, Citra and Columbus, backed up with juicy pineapple, mango and papaya notes. Brewed with double the quantity of hops we would normally use.

Tap at TCBW. Pours hazy yellow. Aroma is sweet, pineapple, mango, papaya. Flavor is sweet and bitter, very juicy, citrus, pineapple, mango, grapefruit. Finish is citric bitter. Overall: very good, was the best IPA and one of the best beers of the festival.

Cloudy light murky beige beer, no head. Aroma: dank hops, bit cheesy, some citrus, tropical fruits, very nice! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: resinous bitterness, citrus, grapefruit, hoppy, more fruits. Aftertaste: little sweet, lots of grapefruit, hoppy, resinous, dank touch, citrus, some passion fruit, lovely.

(500ml can sample @ Ibis Gare Midi share, Brussels, May 1/18, cheers Al!) Pours fairly hazy dark gold with a white head. Notes of pithy grapefruit, tangerine, citrus zest, grass, underripe pit/tropical fruit, crackery malt, softly sweet and finishing fairly dry with moderate grassy/pithy bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth creamy carbonation. Decent enough but not really showing a ton of spark for me, feeling a bit anonymous and overly pithy/grassy.

Sampled @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2018. A murky yellow beer with a small white head. Aroma of fresh grassy hops, yellow fruits, some apple skin. Taste of mild hoppy yellow fruits, pineapple, mellow, easy to drink.

Tap@Taphouse London TTO, Copenhagen (02/05/2018) - pours orange amber with a white head. Comprises sweet tropical fruits, prominent grapefruit, tangerine, citrus peel, sweet malts, piney oily resinous hoppy medium bitter finish.

Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Colour of grapefruit juice. Slimmest film of white. Nose has the oat addition up front, with plenty of juicy, pithy citrus. Notes of grapefruit and underripe orange. Hint of stone fruit. Taste is pithy, citrusy bitter. Some oaty sweetness. Twang of citrus on the palate, too. Fine, and sharp carbonation. More of the pithy citrus to finish.
