Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Semi sweet pale malts, lightly bready. Decent lager character. Slightly bitter florlaness in to a trace of citrus. Light finish. Clean and drinkable.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli - picked up at Whole Foods. Pours totally clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy white head. Plenty of sugary cereal and grain in the nose, slight pale bread, biscuits, tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with basic bready pale malts, biscuits, slight bitter hay, soft citrus fruit notes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish with further cereal qualities, bread, slight grain husk, bitter hay, orange rind. Pretty tasty overall. Certainly a simple lager, but very drinkable.

Bottle from Booths. Yellow-orange, no head. It’s an interesting lager with a flavour very much associated with a brewer like Shepherd Neame rather than St Peters. It has a potent malt-hop and full-bodied taste.
