Rich, very dark brown coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall deep brown head and a lot of opacity, probably around 90% - nice and thick looking. Aroma of roasted malt, tons of lactose, nuts, earth, soy sauce and bunches of cream - strong and pungent, for sure. Full-bodied; Very rich creamy and milky flavour with a lot of lactose, some cherries and a little residual nutty and earthy flavours near the end. Aftertaste is relatively smooth, but the body is strong and the malt and cream pungency canβt be hidden - and itβs a good thing, but you have to expect it. Overall, a very nice milk stout with a ton of lactose and other creamy flavours with a rich malt backbone, some subtle complexities and a well pointed flavour profile that fits the style very well. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Colorado Liqour in Colorado Springs, Colorado on 02-July-2016 from my boss - thanks Jeff, a few hours before leaving for North Dakota on 03-October-2016.

12 oz. bottle. Pitch black, with a small, bubbly, fleeting head. Light coffee, syrup, dirt, and butter toffee. Sweet and roasty, with a sharp bitterness. Medium to heavy body, very sticky and clingy. This is a bitter, relatively harsh milk stout. Still, pretty tasty.

Purchased at College Liquors in Grand Junction, CO; enjoyed on my final night in Fruita, CO while watching Game of Thrones. Appearance is pitch black with a dark tan head. Aroma is rich in dark chocolate, doesn't smell too sweet. Taste is also very rich in dark chocolate, decadent without being too sweet. Nicely done.

Bottle at Imazato. Nose of soy, cocoa, milk, berries. Flavor is pretty much the same with a touch of coffee. A bit plain and flat but ok.

Bottle. A- Cocoa, mocha, sugary, A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Cocoa, dry, coffee, creamy, medium sweetness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- For some reason or another Iβve always kind of passed over SKA beers. I think itβs mostly from the cheeky labels that look like a middle schooler would create or a hey our beer sucks but Iβll pull you in with an interesting label kind of thing. Anyways, I digress. This was actually really good. Not a favorite of mine by any means but as far as a sweet stout goes this one felt pretty textbook. Balanced, complexity in it, and all in all well rounded.
