Normally released around Christmas time, and maybe a special release sometime in May, The Vader Shuffle is a wood aged Belgian porter.

Hints of oak, spice and roast coming from the oak, Belgian yeast and roasted malts respectively. A cult classic from way back in the day!

Cardiff Mini-break Beer#42. Black-brown porter, first of three Tiny Rebel beers in their bar, the last of three probably in Wales for me this year. Light roasted aroma, a bit more oomph in taste, with a coconut flavour that becomes very stated in its aftertaste, a little too sweet though.

At Craft Bier Fest Wien. Surprisingly thin bodied. Flavour-wise it is malt centered, with a moderate roastiness with coffeeish chocolatey notes, and just enough bitterness to make it well balanced. Quite good.
