32oz crowler pours with an opaque straw to dull copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a blend of danky spicy hops, soft cantaloupe and then muted strawberry and mint. The taste delivers soft cantaloupe that quickly ramps into firm levels of bitter spicy, grassy, a bit green bell pepper hops and then danky spicy hoppiness. Another few sips and a thin layer of strawberry and mint are revealed. As it warms notes of pineapple and pink grapefruit are noticed that create a modest hop bitterness. Fun beer that teases with a soft sweet NE style IPA juiciness but quickly and refreshingly builds in hop bitterness. I like it.
