Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky opaque deep gold body that supports an off white head. The aroma offers up spicy funky saison yeast, tangerines and light flowery lavender. The taste delivers a nice modest hoppy bite with spicy herbal hops and a grassy note. It picks up mild flowery lavender to midway amidst the hops and growing sweet maltiness. It also picks up thin cracker like malts into the finish. Tasty stuff that steers clear of being too thick and sweet but rather more lively.
