$2.90 can from Wine Warehouse. Pours nearly black with an inch of tan head. Ginger overwhelms this aroma - all over the place, along with cinnamon and very light coffee. Flavor is also super ginger, along with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, chocolate, and some coffee. It’s OK, but not well balanced. The spice is way too out front, but at least it’s not sickeningly sweet.

12 oz can poured into a tulip. Canned on 11/4/2016. Black with about a finger of light tan head. Aromas of sweet ginger, some chocolate, roasty notes. Tastes of ginger, dark chocolate, some roast. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Pretty good, a bit late to the party with Hardywood’s GBS success.
