Froggy Style is a smack to the monotony of daily life. If bleakness rains down upon your lust for life, perhaps it’s time for something new and out of the ordinary. But don’t waste time pondering existentialism. Just leap forward with whatever springs to mind and find your true head again.

Bomber poured into a shaker. Batch 68. Pours almost black with minimal head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate with a little dark fruit. Taste is light bitter. Coffee and dark chocolate with dark fruits, a little vanilla and some leather. Medium-full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, absolutely awesome. Another homerun from pipeworks.

Bottle shared by a friend. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium thin beige head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of smoked malt and citrus. Medium body with flavors of burnt malt, adhesive bandage and dark chocolate. The finish is malty with a smoked meat aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Pours a dark brown/black appearance with a light brown. Quite piney, herbal, rich chocolate, grassy aroma. Tangy, dark fruity, a bit boozy, chocolate, piney flavor. Kind of interesting but a bit strong.

Bottle at Chriso - 25/09/12 thanks to Ken/Madmitch 76 (I think!) for this one. Very dark brown with a thin tan head. Dark malts, light smoke, sour tones and a whiff of piss on the nose. Taste follows nose with the flavour of a Belgian stout eveident and a light scattering of coffee thrown in. Tones of wheat and grain in the background. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation keading to a smooth finish. Pretty average, looks the part but doesn’t really deliver.

Bottle. Pours black with a gray head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has a nice creamy roasted malt note with some dry pine hops and a hint of coffee. Flavor has coffee up front with roasted malts and has a bit of dry grassy hops in the finish.
