330ml bottle, many thanks to Finn. The noisy pour reveals a low beige head that dissipates quickly. Clear orange-red body, unclear last pour. Perfumed aroma with earth and dried fruits. Taste of berries, dried fruits and caramel malts, bone dry. Bittersweet ending that lingers for a while. Mostly integrated alcohol. Relatively flat in the mouth. Satisfying bock (Tromsø, 07.03.2013).

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured mahogany color, thin brownish head, soapy looking. Aroma is sweet malty and soapy, bready. Medium sweet, bready malty, caramel and light metal notes. Long malty finish. No alcohol in taste in this one, as others have detected. Surprisingly light bodied as well. Quite drinkable actually.

A dark brown beer with a weak and beige head. Aroma of roastiness, malts, red berries and hint of metal. Taste is malty and quite sweet, roastiness balancing, some aclohol in the aftertaste that dries the taste together with mild hoppyness. Medium+ bodied, low carbonation. There is a good effort, but unfortunately, this is also quite boring.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20130208) The beer poured dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, metallicness, berries and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, berries, alcohol, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and boozy. A too boozy doppelbock if you could call this one a such.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 09/2013
Aroma is somewhat sweet with strawberries, some caramel and hints of metal. Flavour has strawberries, some alcohol, licorice and hints of toffee. Also Nokia’s metallic house flavour is strong on this one. Quite odd doppelbock with all those berries and just slight feeling of malt.
