Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark.Unclear medium to dark brown amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark fruit, raisin, plum, light candy, light to moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, yeasty, caramel, dried fruit - raisin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130315]

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty fruity caramel and dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty caramel and dark fruit flavor with weak yeasty hints. Has a sweetish malty yeasty caramel and dark fruit finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar Viktoria. Dark brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, dark fruits, yeast, caramel and plume. Flavour is malt, dark fruits, yeast, caramel, plume, spices, raisins and medium sweet.

Draft. A dark red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of candy sugar, malt, fruit, and a bit of yeast, leading to a dry yeasty finish.

fra fat på Mikkeller Ølbar: min første øl fra Pizza Port. Et hederlig forsøk på en belgisk dubbel, men ikke helt overbevist. De har ikke spart på rosinpakka. God, men belgierne gjør dette best.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden brown with a deep orange glare and a small off white head. Aroma is roasted dark malty, caramelish and light sweet. Bitter, roasted malty and light hoppy. Lingering dark malty into the finish.

Keg at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. An amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Sweet, fruity aroma. Tastes of raisins and other dark fruits, spice and childrens fruit sweets (tootie fruity) that I used to eat back in the 70’s! Rather strange to be honest. Vaguely Belgian in character but a bit unbalanced. Not really for me, give me more coffee monster.

CP&K Pizza Port Tap Takeover. Clear red - amber beer, little off white head. Softish palate. Mild fine carbonation. Very mildly tart fruits - cherry and raspberry. Tiny bit of coca cola. Finishes smooth. Easy going.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a murky dark brown/red color. The aroma is big spices, raisins and sweeter fruits. The flavor is a big dry Dubbel with loads of dark fruit, raisins, caramel, quite flavorful.
