0.5L bottle pours with a clear copper brown body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma pulses with ripe dark fruity esters like plum, fig and dates as well as spiced molasses and then some booze into the end of the draw. The taste delivers similar notes with sweet prunes, dates and figs dusted with brown sugar and booze. To midway it gets into winter spices, a bit of woodiness and booze. I think with some cellar time this will improve as the esters are a bit too bright today.
