Dankworth w/ Simcoe is our idea of a Holiday Double IPA. We took our delicately balanced Dankworth grain bill and double dry hopped it with Simcoe. This yielded a beautifully dank beer that is encompassed by notes of pine and berry. Think of an old school, wine-countryesque DIPA. It's Christmas in a glass!

Pint can pours with a near clear gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up some grapefruit, pineapple and a bit of pine hops at the end of the draw. The taste delivers smooth sweetened grapefruit and thin pineapple heading into a modest level of pine hop like hop bitterness. The hops grow to a moderate level of mostly citrus hop bitterness to midway and into the finish. Nice.
