(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 10 Sep 2012) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, caramel, orange peel and slightly resinous hops. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, treacle toffee, orange, citrus peel and slightly resinous hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty, well balanced and very drinkable. Nice one.

A hazed amber ale with a thick frothy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, light fruity malt with loads of floral and piney hops, tropical fruits, Nelson Sauvin hops (?), quite nice. In mouth, a smooth crisp biscuit malt with floral catnip hops, light citrus notes, pungent qualities, very nice. Tasted with ProbstBlueRibbon, July 7, 2012. Bought at Beer Table Pantry, June 2012.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned 12/23/2011(hoping for the best). Pours slightly cloudy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Some decent spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas of big orange, grapefruit, pine, herbal, floral, citrus rind, caramel, light tropical, grass, and honey. Very nice aromas with good balance, strength, and complexity. Taste of grapefruit, orange, pine, herbal, grass, bread, caramel, honey, floral, and light tropical. Fair amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, herbal, floral, rind, and light pine on the finish for a bit. Very nice balance of bitterness and sweetness; with a very nice balance of hop flavors. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy and fairly crisp mouthfeel. Zero alcohol presence as expected for 4.4%. Overall this is a really nice pale ale! Despite the age of this can, it still turned out to be a highly enjoyable brew. Great balance and a lot of flavor given the ABV.

Not a bad pale ale, kinda reminds me more of a Levitation-style amber than an APA, but I’m in a bitchy mood, so there. Cascade hops on the nose and all over the taste, dominating the other three hops used with disregard to their feelings. Some sweetness comes in from the malts, giving the beer the mildest of a honey-touched middle, but the Cascades are in control here. Drinkable as hell, that’s for sure, and quite the looker too. Good beer.

Tap. Pours golden yellow with a small white head that dissipates rapidly with minimal lacing. Nice aroma with strong floral and citrus hops with an underlying touch of sweet malt. Taste is similar to aroma, but more muted, with the hops presence especially diminished. Watery mouthfeel. Crisp and clean finish - exceedingly drinkable beer, but I am not as big of a fan as many on the site. I would pick this as a low ABV hot summertime thirst quencher.
