American style imperial IPA. Cascade and Crystal hops balance out the malt sweetness from the large pale malt grain bill. Brewed around 4/20/17 and aged in Bourbon barrels for one year.

tap at the brewpub - Pours amber-orange with a small, lingering head. The aroma is of bourbon and hops. The flavor is bourbon led with assertive hops bitterness, pine and citrus, and solid malt backing. There's a lot of bourbon here, which I like, but the hop heavy flavors, even mellowed by the aging, are strong enough to not be overwhelmed. Very tasty.
