Mit seiner leichten Naturtrübe ist es eine helle Alternative zu den Lagerbieren.
Wie alle Bierspezialitäten von Aare Bier ist auch das Kellerfrisch nicht stabilisiert und wird weder behandelt noch filtriert, dadurch kann Hefe am Boden oder in Schwebe enthalten sein.
Gebraut mit Trinkwasser aus der Schanzenquelle nach alter Brautradition und dem Reinheitsgebot von 1516.

Getreidiger Antrunk. Mild hefig und hellmalzig, feine Karbonisierung. Wässrig herb, ab dem Mittelteil pappige Beinoten. Geringe Bitterkeit, mittellanger Nachhall. 9/8/9/8/8/9/8

Süffig getreidig-würziger Antrunk mit unterschwelliger Bitterkeit, die ihren Status lange Zeit behält. Der zu milde Hopfen ist währendessen führend, was zeigt, wie mild das Bier im Gesamten ist. Das Bier bleibt oberflächlich, entsprechend schnell ist der Nachgeschmack – und das Bier aus meinem Gedächnis – verschwunden. 10/8/9/7/7/7

Aroma: Slight hops, slight malt. Grass.
Taste: Light hops, light malt. Slight grains. Very refreshing. Didn’t expect to like it so much.

0.33l bottle from coop in bern, 1.85 fr (03.09.2017). also from kalea adventskalender (23.02.2018). pours a hazy pale golden with a frothy white head. aroma of chewed pencil, jasmine tea, spicy malts. flavour of almonds, biscuit, mint. mild, but interesting.

Das Zugpferd der mittelständischen Brauerei in Uster (ich habe es als "Usterbräu Original" getrunken) am Greifensee. Interessanterweise wird damit geworben, dass es kein Industriebier ist und sich deshalb positiv von diesen abhebt...das witzige daran ist, dass die Brauerei am hiesigen Industrielehrpfad liegt und die alte Brauanlage als Industriedenkmal geschützt ist. Vom Geschmack her sehr fein und schweiztypisch mit biologischen Zutaten gebraut und nicht pasteurisiert und gefiltert.
