Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2013 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dusty malt, dark malt, licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130524]

Draft. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of straw and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and bread.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, mild liquorice, some alcohol as well as mild syrupy notes. Flavour is liquorice, mild ripe fruits, herbs, leather and some slight chocolaty notes. Quite dry palate.

DØE. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel and something odd... Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, spices, "exotic fruits", little sweet, little bitter, caramel and a little dry.

Sample @ DØE. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are anis, fruits, caramel, malt and hops.

Spicy aroma. Black colour. Big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is roasted, creamy and spicy. Good combination. Dryish finish, but a good beer.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light breadish. Bitter, toasted malty and light chocolate. Dry and toasted malty finish.
