Lite tunn i kroppen men gott.

33 cl bottle ordered to Systembolaget in Mölndal. BB 131029, sampled on March 30, 2013.Clear brown color, big tan head. Sweet, caramel, malty, citrus, hoppy, tad bit roasted, grape fruit scent, lovely. Malty and a little bit sweet at first, quickly moves over to bitter, hoppy, sort of salty, fruit peels taste. Bitter and herbal aftertaste, citrus peels. Overly bitter for my taste right now. Smooth low co2 mouthfeel, also a bit to the thin side, was also a very low hiss when opening, perhaps very low carbonation in all? High bitterness.

Gott!

Bottle. Pours red with a big yellowish head. Nice bisquity malt and generous amount of hops. Nice brew.

Bright chestnut color, with small head. The aroma is typical of Mohawk, with a strong presence of caramel and cereals, and some sweaty hops. The mouthfeel is smooth and round; very good caramel flavor, with light residual sweetness, and a touch of roasted nuts, and strong bitterness; the hop qualities are evident; there is a shade of that Nordic dustiness.
Very good and fresh IPA with a solid caramel base.
