The aroma offers up slivers of dates and prunes leading quickly to molasses, faint vanilla, cinnamon and the cognac barrel treatment. Inviting. The taste delivers smooth slick sweet malts and molasses mingling with mildly boozy dark and fruity cognac, dates and prunes. In the background the cinnamon spice and faint vanilla are noticed from time to time. This offers up a really nice sipping experience as it's blended and balanced and full of integrated flavor goodness. I love it.
