32oz crowler pours with a nice murky rutty brown to mahogany colored body that supports a thin off white head of foam. This is a good looking barleywine. The aroma offers up a thicket of malts, a bit of caramel and then dates and raisins. The taste delivers smooth sweet integrated notes of thick sweet malts, dates, brown sugar dusted raisins and a pleasing layer of sweet caramel candy. Nice. To midway the sugar blunted oak notes brighten a bit as the booziness bubbles to the surface. This is a solid sipper. I'm digging it. Please make more.
