500ml bottle - nice deep ruby body, thick white lasting head. Good malty aroma, hefty kick of dried fruit there too. The taste has a well rounded cake fruit taste to it, with a nice bitter finish. It has a meaty mouthfeel to it too. Quite impressed with this. New entry into my Top 20 ESB Hit Parade!

Cask at CPK, London. Pours hazy amber-ruby with a fine, white cream head. Rich, toasted whole grain bread aroma, light berries. Beautiful nose, loads of nuance there. Medium sweet flavor with semi-ripe berries, great cherries, faint caramel, light toast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Medium sweet finish with more toasty malts, berries, semi-ripe fruits, faint dry caramel. Excellent balance and depth of character.
