Handpull cask at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Deep gold, clear and fairly flat with precious little head. Peach and mango aroma with more than a hint of sulphur. Bitter and slightly acidic taste, nicely balanced with the fruit-laden sweetness. Medium to long finish heavy on the astringency. A very English pale ale, well, made but doesn’t break out of the mould enough to be truly amazing.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Clear bright golden color, average to decent sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, a tad sweet, slightly a hint of tropical fruit in the far distance, firm bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation.
