31/5/2024. From cask at the 37th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Pours clear bright golden with a small bubbly just off-white head. Aroma is citrus, orange, floral, peel, gooseberry. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily watery, average carbonation. Nice drying bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Handpull cask at the Grove, Holbeck, Leeds. Light to mid-gold, clear with a fluffy white head. Grainy aroma with sharp notes of white grapefruit rind. Bittersweet with lots of bitter hop shooting at you from all directions nearer the finish. Some herbal almost savoury character alongside the citrus notes in the aftertaste. Oily body with almost no carbonation. Okay.

Pale gold with a creamy white head and biscuit malt and citrus fruit aroma. Grassy hops, light malt and slightly bitter orange flavours combine very nicely, there's a subtle sweetness to it before a bitter finish
