Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, coffee, and lemons, as well as hints of brettanomyces, leading to a dry finish.

[5/4/13] Draught at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Very alcoholic aroma with bourbon, lots of wood and some coffee. Sweet flavor with lots of wood, some chocolate, bourbon and alcohol. Medium to full-bodied.

Sampled draught at CBC, blue session, Saturday afternoon May 4, 2013.Dark brown to black color, brown head. Spicy, coffee, towards sassafras, fresh scent. Malty, sweet, roasted, alcohol taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Pours pitch black with a smooth white head. Aroma of roasted malts, syrup, cocoa and sweet notes. Taste is sticky and sweetish with notes of roastiness, syrup, cocoa and licorice. Finish is smooth and sticky with some tart fruits and coffee beans. A bit unbalanced.
