Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate, bourbon and vanilla aroma. Roasted malty borbon chocolate and vanilla flavor. Has a roasted malty bourbon and vanilla finish.

Bottle at the brewpub during RBSG. Opaque red/black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of oak, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, licorice and dark fruit. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of dark fruit and licorice. Full bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty decent impy.

Bottle at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small, creamy and chocolate brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate and dense malty. Dark malty and dense chocolate. Smooth dark chocolate and lingering light vanilla. Smooth wooden too.

Bottle shared by DrBill at Sourfest. Pours with a black body and a small tan head. Big barrel notes in the aroma. Vanilla, maple, light roast, chocolate, oak and chalk. Flavors of bourbon, lots of alcohol, oak, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and roast. Medium bubbles, syrupy, big!
