Welcome change to drink occasionally in the Dutch Pilsner dominated beer-landscape of the 80s...These days harder to find, I think mostly brewed by southern Dutch breweries at this moment. Color: Clear ruby, beige head. Aroma: Caramel, malty, brown sugar. Taste: Sweet, sugary, a lot of malty caramel. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Over medium sweet, very light bitterness. It's no wonder you see this style less and less often. It doesn't really add anything to the current beer landscape. But it's still fun to drink occasionally. Nostalgia...

A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweet dark malt, caramel, some raisins. Taste of sweet chocolate, dark malt, some dark fruits, molasses.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear dark brown colored brew with an pretty sweet taste, lot of hints of caramel and artificial sweeteners. But must say i enjoyed it this Dutch Low-Alcohol beerstyle.

For the style of oud bruin it's a bit lacking in sourness and richness, it has more of a sweet no abv body to it. For 3.5% it's good. bier konig ams

Bottle shared by Cuso, thanks. Malty aroma and taste, rice bread, light sweet and bitter. Medium body, malty bitter sweet finish. Ok.

Bottle at a tasting. Sweet as complete fucking sweetish fuck. Oxidized too, metallic too. Hard to find anything else here. Simple. Bad.
